New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo landed heavily on right shoulder after was hit by the Miami Dolphins player in the second quarter, which let him leave early.
Patriots do not provide the latest information about Garoppolo after the game. However, according to informed sources, Garoppolo suffered a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder and will be inspected every day. Informed sources also said that the Patriots still do not give up hoping Garoppolo’ return before Week 4 game against Houston Texans.
Patriot offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Monday morning that the team had not made a decision on how to adjust the quarterback position.

Rookie Adam Gotsis and Jared Crick will get more work with the starters in the days ahead.
